Providing Information
The Australian Visa Offices in China appreciate information from the public regarding people planning to work or live illegally in Australia or people planning on providing fraudulent information to the Visa Office.
Information from the public provides important support to the Australian Visa Office in its efforts to maintain the integrity of Australia\'s borders and immigration programs.
The Australian Visa Office can undertake inquiries about a person planning on working or living illegally in Australia if you provide as much of the following information as possible:
- the basis of your suspicion that the person is planning on working or living in Australia illegally or providing fraudulent information.
- the name of the person
- the age or date of birth of the person
- gender
- their address (residential or work)
- passport number or id card number
The Australian Visa Office will treat any information provided by members of the public in the strictest confidence.
For privacy reasons, no information can be provided on the outcome or the progress of our inquiries.
