"The Smith Street Band 'No One Gets Lost Anymore' - happily one of the best Aussie albums in recent memory. Also one of the best live bands doing the rounds. Go see 'em." - BEAT Magazine

In the space of 3 years, Melbourne's THE SMITH STREET BAND have gone from playing house parties, storm drains and pretty much anything in between to being one of the most energised and talked about punk-rock bands in Australia. Not only has this earned the band support slots for many international touring acts, including Frank Turner, Fucked Up, La Dispute and Jim Ward, but it has also seen them play a string of sold out shows in recent times, including Melbourne's much-loved Poison City Weekender festival. Fronted by loveable Melbourne song-writer Wil Wagner, their infectious sound melds high energy punk-rock, elements of 90's indie-rock and a distinct story-telling style of vocals. Their revered debut album 'No One Gets Lost Anymore' featured highly on many "Best of 2011" lists and was voted Album of the Year by Bombshellzine. With it's follow-up already recorded, The Smith Street Band will again team up with Poison City Records to release album #2 this August. In trademark style, the band will then embark on an extensive tour, featuring their very first international shows when they visit China & the U.S.A. this September. The Smith Street Band are not to be missed!

"2011 was the year that Melbourne's the Smith Street Band went from relative obscurity in Australia’s small, burgeoning punk scene to being the “go to” band for many international acts that have toured Oz in recent times. There are a variety of reasons for this development, but the obvious answer is due to the band’s stellar debut album, No One Gets Lost Anymore" - Punknews.org

"These guys seemed to singlehandedly reenergize an entire scene in the space of a 30 minute set." BEAT Magazine The Smith Street Band have a growing army of Australian fans, and in late 2012 will play their first international shows with tours to China and America.
