Information about biometric collection for Frequent Traveller stream applicants residing in China.
To be granted a Visitor (subclass 600) Frequent Traveller stream visa, visa applicants are required to provide personal identifiers in the form of fingerprint scans and/or a digital facial photograph by attending an Australian Biometrics Collection Centre (ABCC). Failure to provide personal identifiers may result in the refusal of a Frequent Traveller application.
Biometric collection within the People’s Republic of China is currently available only in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. Applicants who are required to complete biometrics will need to arrange to have biometrics taken at an Australian Biometrics Collection Centre (ABCC) (this includes those located in other countries). For a list of all locations included in the biometric program please visit: https://immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/help-support/meeting-our-requirements/biometrics.
