Students travelling as part of a study group should apply for the Tourist stream Visitor (subclass 600) visa. Accompanying teachers and staff should apply for the Business Visitor stream Visitor (subclass 600) visa.
You can assist us process these applications more efficiently by
- Lodging all study tour visa applications online at ImmiAccount
- Identifying all applicants who are travelling together by selecting the ‘Group processing’ option and choosing the ‘School / study’ Group Type.
- Providing all supporting documents at time of lodgement including consent documents for minor applicants.
If you do not clearly identify the applications as being part of a group, or do not lodge all supporting documents at time of application, this may lead to delays in processing.
