2018 Victorian State Election
The Victorian State Election will take place on Saturday 24 November 2018.
The Australian Embassy in Beijing will open as an early voting centre from 9:30 to 12:00 on 19 to 23 November (mornings only).
VOTING AT THE AUSTRALIAN EMBASSY IN BEIJING WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE ON ELECTION DAY 24 NOVEMBER.
Please check your enrolment status before attempting to attend the consulate to vote. Visit www.vec.vic.gov.au to check your enrolment.
The Australian Embassy in Beijing is not in a position to confirm your enrolment details or your eligibility to vote.
Postal vote –online application – receive ballots by email:
You can now apply online for a postal vote here. Ballots will be emailed to you – you will receive one email with a single use password to access ballot material. Please visit www.vec.vic.gov.au for more information.
- Apply for a ballot paper to be emailed to you
- Print and complete the ballot paper
- Post the ballot paper to Australia using the envelope provided
Returned votes must be sent back to Australia postmarked on or before 6.00 pm on Saturday 24 November and received no later than 6.00 pm (Victorian time) on Friday 30 November in Australia.
