Please note that in order to access the Shanghai Visa Office by telephone, you will require a multi-frequency telephone. Most telephones currently in common use are multi-frequency telephones, as opposed to the older "pulse" type telephones. If you attempt to call us using a pulse telephone it is likely that you will be unable to successfully choose an option from our recorded greeting and the system will terminate your call.

Access to the Australian Consulate-General Guangzhou

All persons visiting the Development Centre Building are required to produce ID and fill in a visitor registration form at the lobby reception. Visitors also need to deposit RMB50 cash or effective certificate (e.g. ID card, driving license) to receive a visitor card. Before departing the building the visitor must return the card to reception in order to cancel registration and redeem the RMB50 deposit or certificate.
