Work and Holiday (subclass 462) visa Launch

Back to Visas and Citizenship        English I 中文

The online system to book an appointment to submit a Work and Holiday visa was opened on the morning of 21 September 2015. The first round of 1500 appointments have already been filled.

As with all of our initiatives in China, we are adopting an incremental approach to implementation in order to ensure an orderly and well managed process. We will continue to offer appointment rounds at scheduled times in the coming months until all 5000 Work and Holiday visas for Chinese applicants are granted. Once an appointment has been booked, applicants are required to attend their nominated Australian Visa Application Centre to lodge their application in person.

The commencement date for each round will be advertised through our social media channels and on our website.

To check if you are eligible to apply for a Work and Holiday (subclass 462) please consult our Frequently Asked Questions, Checklist, or visit the DIBP Work and Holiday page for further information.
