Jane Godwin

JANE GODWIN is the highly acclaimed author of over twenty books for children, across all styles and ages. Her work is published internationally, and she has received many commendations and awards. Jane has also had a long and distinguished career as a publisher at Penguin Books Australia.

Jane is perhaps best known for her collaborations with illustrator Anna Walker on five bestselling picture books, the latest of which is What Do You Wish For?. These charming and whimsical books look at the everyday life of children and their families, and encourage the reader to slow down and appreciate who and what is around us.

Jane lives in Melbourne with her family and spends most of her waking hours dedicated to pursuing enriching reading and writing experiences for young people – as a writer, publisher, and speaker in schools.
